We also know that there are a lot of choices to make when you buy your first tandem or recumbent -- from what type of tandem or recumbent to how it's setup.

We've tried to take some of the uncertainty out of your search by selecting bicycles from some of the best tandem and recumbent manufacturers in the world. You can be sure that any tandem or recumbent you buy from Tandems, Ltd will be ready for the road or trail. When you visit Tandems, Ltd, we'll discuss with you how you ride, and how you envision using your tandem or recumbent in the future. One of the many things that help us differentiate Tandems, Ltd from the run of the mill bike shop is our selection of tandems and recumbents. We have a large number of these fine bikes, set up and ready for test rides, and we have a great place for you to learn how to ride. We don't just turn you loose in a parking lot, we take the time to teach you how to get started, what to look for when riding. We tell you some of the tandem and recumbent secrets that have taken other teams years to learn on their own. All of this helps make that first tandem (or recumbent) ride a pleasurable one. If you're coming in from out of town, you may want to spend the night in the area. There are several hotels near us in the Colonnades (about 3 miles from our shop). Other hotels, just a bit further from Tandems, Ltd than those listed, include a Hilton Inn, a Drury Inn, a Fairfield Inn, a Holiday Inn Express, and several others.
